WHAT WE DID
Significant reconstruction was required to overhaul the decades old last revision of infrastructure. Rather than being particular to any period specifically, the remaining original features were emphasized and combined with design across the century that the property is old.
RESULT
Taking direction from original features like the stained glass pattern from the entryway, some elements were restored to their original design in juxtaposition with more recent additions. Sleek steel framed doors reflect the original woodwork design. The remaining ground floor open plan delineates seating, dining and kitchen areas. A paired back color scheme is coupled with architectural and design references to the origins in design, layered with vintage and current form factors.
This combination is continued consistently throughout the residence's additional two floors, establishing coherence across different spaces and aesthetics.
