1. GENERAL

These General Terms and Conditions of Atelier August Teddy apply exclusively to all offers, products, orders, agreements, and deliveries made through the Atelier August Teddy webshop. By placing an order via the webshop, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
These General Terms and Conditions do not apply to interior design services, consultancy, bespoke projects, or any other activities of the Atelier August Teddy design studio, for which separate agreements and terms may apply.

2. AGREEMENT & ORDER
2.1
The agreement becomes binding at the moment you place an order. Atelier August Teddy will process orders after payment has been received. Until that time, Atelier August Teddy remains the sole owner of the products.
2.2
Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation stating that payment has been accepted, along with an email containing the confirmation and details of your order. If you require an invoice including VAT, you may send an email to info@august-teddy.com and we will provide it to you.
2.3
Images and specifications are for indicative purposes only. All products are handmade and may therefore vary slightly.
2.4
Atelier August Teddy reserves the right to refuse an order or to dissolve an agreement.
2.5
Atelier August Teddy reserves the right to amend images and texts on the website without prior notice.
3. PAYMENT & PAYMENT METHODS
3.1
At Atelier August Teddy, you can choose from several secure payment methods. We accept the following payment methods: iDEAL and credit card payments via MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.
3.2
If Atelier August Teddy has accidentally listed an incorrect price on the website and it is clearly a mistake, we reserve the right to correct this error, even if the item has already been ordered.
3.3
All prices on our website are stated in euros, inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of shipping costs.
4. SHIPPING COSTS & DELIVERY TIME
The Netherlands: 1–5 business days
Shipping rates are in accordance with the current PostNL tariffs.
Delivery times are indicative. Atelier August Teddy is not responsible for any delays.
5. DELIVERY
5.1
Atelier August Teddy uses one delivery method:
Postal and parcel service PostNL
5.2
If an incorrect delivery address is provided, an incorrect delivery option is selected, or if Atelier August Teddy must resend the package for any other reason, additional costs may apply and may be charged to the customer.
5.3
Many of the products offered in the Atelier August Teddy webshop are handmade; this is clearly stated in the product description where applicable. We will do our utmost to ship orders as quickly as possible after payment has been received. Atelier August Teddy always strives to ensure that you receive your order within the expected delivery time. If this is not possible for any reason (for example, if an item is temporarily out of stock, production takes longer than anticipated, or the courier service is on strike), we will inform you as soon as possible.
5.4
Until the moment of delivery, Atelier August Teddy bears responsibility for the order. After delivery, responsibility is transferred to you.
5.5
Please note that the delivery times mentioned in Article 4 are expected delivery times. If a product is not delivered within the expected period, it is not possible to submit a claim. However, Atelier August Teddy will always make every effort to ensure that your order arrives on time.
6. INSPECTION PERIOD
6.1
Atelier August Teddy strives to ensure that all customers are satisfied with their purchase. Nevertheless, we advise you to check the quality and quantity of the products within fourteen days. If anything is not in order, please send an email to info@august-teddy.com.
7. RETURNS & EXCHANGES
7.1
We hope you are satisfied with your purchase. If not, you have fourteen days from the date you received your order to return the product.
7.2
Returns or exchanges must always be registered with us in advance via info@august-teddy.com. The return form must always be included in the package.
7.3
You may return the package together with the completed return form to:

7.4
The costs and responsibility for return shipments are at your own expense.
7.5
If goods are used, worn, damaged, or incomplete, we reserve the right to refuse returned items.
7.6
Refunds will be processed within fourteen days after receipt and inspection of the returned goods.
7.7
Atelier August Teddy can only refund the amount to the account used for the original payment.
8. WARRANTY
8.1
After the fourteen-day inspection period (Article 6.1), Atelier August Teddy provides a two-month warranty on the quality of the product, unless explicitly stated otherwise. The warranty becomes void if defects are caused by improper use, if you or third parties have made or attempted to make modifications to the product, or if the product has been used in a manner for which it was not intended. If you are not satisfied with the quality of a product, please send an email to info@august-teddy.com.
