BRIEF
A home that marks new ventures while referencing heritage.
WHAT WE DID
With the layout mostly dictated by construction, structural elements were revisited to to either fully integrate or stand out with purpose. With colors utilized as starting point these were combined with textures and finishes to remain restrained while retaining subtle tension.
RESULT
A monumental experience in a 70m2 apartment. With an elementary approach to designating space and function, the rooms themselves are part of the layered, textured construct of the design. Materials, colors, patterns et al are applied to each evoke their own recollection while retaining their part of the integral whole.
